LCIL is fully accessible and we have two training rooms for other organisations to hire out. We have an extensive library which is free for members of the public to use in order for them to find out about issues affecting disabled people. We also have a large computer suite and offer free computer learning modules for people aged 18 or over. We support disabled parents and parents of school age children with additional needs.
Our unique training programmes, run for and by disabled people, are very popular. Workshops on the Disability Discrimination Act, Independent Living and Disability Equality are being delivered by a small, dedicated team. If you are interested in any of these events please contact us. All of our work is undertaken strictly within the sociaal model definition of disability. |
