Junior Youth Inclusion Project Leicester (YIP) provides a number of responses to support young people aged 8-12 years in Leicester City who are having difficulty in succeeding with home, social and school life. This project listens to the needs of young people and helps them to find a way to improve their quality of life. The project works in partnership with other agencies in three areas of Leicester City:
* Beaumont Leys/Mowmacre Hill/Stocking Farm - Project Co-ordinator: Parminder Basra (0116 235 5135, parminder.basra@crimeconcern.org.uk)
* New Parks - Project Co-ordinator: Gurj Rajput (0116 287 9017, gurj.rajput@crimeconcern.org.uk)
* Saffron/Eyres Monsell - Project Co-ordinator: Lee Martin (01116 283 1765, lee.martin@crimeconcern.org.uk)
Young people are referrred by key agencies bi-annually. In addition the service also provides direct youth provision for other young people. A timetable is available on request. |
