The Centre is a national voluntary organisation based in Leicester, that has pioneered and developed a range of group work programmes to help parents who experience behaviour difficulties with their children. These children or teenagers are often excluded from school, live chaotic lives and are at risk of offending. Often they get into violent confrontation with their parents, siblings, peer groups or teachers. Working with the Centre reduces the chances of such children going into local authority care and improves their life skills and behaviour for the community at large. The main focus of the work is on the provision of specialist parenting groups.
The Centre also delivers parenting training locally and nationally.
