LeicesterShire Council for Voluntary Youth Services (LCVYS) is a specialist infrastructure organisation which supports the voluntary and community youth sector across Leicester and Leicestershire and is the strategic lead for the sector in its relationship with the Children’s Trusts. Current membership now totals 120 organisations which represents a wide and diverse network of providers of services to children and young people delivered in the main by volunteers as well as paid staff.
Our Vision: To enable the best outcomes for all children and young people through the delivery of high quality youth work.
Our Mission: LCVYS exists to support and represent voluntary youth sector member organisations to develop and sustain high quality youth work that meets the diverse needs of children and young people in Leicester and Leicestershire.
